KH: My favorite part of being in this show is meeting new friends and being in this play with a number of friends that I have been in plays with before!!!
Q: Who is your favorite character in Guys & Dolls Jr.?
KH: My favorite character in this show is Sky.
Q: How many shows have you been cast in to date?
KH: I have been in 2 shows not including this one. I have been in I Never Saw Another Butterfly, The King & I and I’m currently working on a show called Leaving Iowa.
Q: What is your favorite play?
KH: My favorite play is Romeo & Juliet. I don’t know why, it has just always been my favorite.
Q: How is this show different from previous theatrical experiences you’ve had?
KH: This show has been different because I am used to having rehearsal on a daily basis and in this show we had only three rehearsals a week. That was definitely a change.
Q: Do you think there will be some people in your life who are surprised to see you onstage?
KH: I don’t think there are people that would be shocked to see me on stage. I love acting and I try to tell everyone how much I like it.
Q: What are some of your favorite aspects of participating in theatre?
KH: My favorite thing about acting is that you get to be someone else. You get to have a little taste of what it’s like to be someone (or something) different.
Q: What has been your biggest challenge so far while rehearsing this show?
KH: The biggest challenge so far in rehearsing this show is trying to do a New York accent.
Q: Why do you think folks should come and see this production of Guys & Dolls Jr.?
KH: The reason people should come see this show is because it’s super funny and different.
Q: How old were you when you first decided you wanted to perform?
KH: When I first decided that I wanted to have a career in acting was when I was thirteen. I was doing a middle school production and I thought it was super fun! So then I went and auditioned for the 2014 main stage production of The King & I.
Q: What is your favorite scene from this show?
KH: My favorite scene from this show is the Havana scene.
