Currently Taking Applications for 2015 College Internships!

The deadline for applying for our College Internship Program for 2015 is only a couple weeks away! Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be an intern at Parkway Playhouse? Here’s some words of experience from one of our 2014 College Interns:

Hope 94 3.5x5 - Copy

“My internship at Parkway Playhouse was an incredibly beneficial opportunity in my theatre career. Not only did I continue to stretch and grow my previous skills in the shop, but I gained many new skills and knowledge about costumes, props, PR, and lights. Everyone that I had the pleasure of working with obviously loves the theatre and the people there. I was always greeted by all with a smile and a warm welcome. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities that Parkway offered me, and I encourage others to apply to this program! I learned more than a little bit about everything: it is a very well rounded program, but I was also given the choice to work on an area that was a particular interest to me: lighting. I was given the opportunity to work as Master Electrician for a portion of the summer: this is an experience that not many college students can list on their resumes. There are many aspects of this program which put Parkway interns ahead of the pack.”

~Hope Peterson, 2014 Parkway Playhouse College Intern from Wake Forest University
