All Shook Up Actor Spotlight: Rose Ray (ENSEMBLE)

Rose Ray(Ensemble)Q – What shows might people have seen you in before?

A – A Christmas Carol 2012 and Ghost Riders 2014.

Q – What is a typical day like for you?

A – I am retired from business. I piddle around with housework and read a lot. I do a little bit of knitting with a very social group. I DO NOT COOK and HATE anything to do with the kitchen except for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I like being around young people. I was director of Vacation Bible School in June.

Q – What is your favorite line from the show?

A – Sylvia says, “They are not drunks. They are alcohol enthusiasts!” There are a lot of great lines throughout the show that are really funny.

Q – What has been your favorite moment from rehearsal thus far?

A – I am enthralled with Dominic Aquilino, the Music Director. It is totally amazing what he can do with his voice!

Q – How is All Shook Up different from other musicals?

A – There are 26 songs in this musical. I don’t recall any of the other musicals having this many, maybe 6-8 tunes. There are ensembles in nearly all of the 26 songs which is a lot. So there is much activity going on throughout.

Q – What’s the #1 reason someone should see this show?

A – This show spotlights some very talented local youth. It is a fun production full of energy. I can’t believe anyone would not like this production. The music is simply great!
