Upcoming Auditions for The Year of the Perfect Christmas Tree holiday production at Parkway Playhouse

Parkway Playhouse will present a musical adaptation of the classic children’s book The Year of the Perfect Christmas Tree by Gloria Houston, and area actors are being sought to fill all of the roles in the production.   The Production will be performed in late November in Mitchell County with rehearsals beginning in early October.  Parkway Playhouse’s Artistic Director, Andrew Gall, will direct the production.

The cast calls for 20 actors aged 8 through adult.   The production will also require assistance in production areas: scenery, props, costumes, and lighting.

Open auditions will be held Sunday, October 4 from 6:30-8:30pm at the Mountain Heritage Center, located at 113 Green Mountain Drive in Burnsville. Actors should be prepared to read and sing.  Additional information about the production, including roles available, and production schedule is available on the Parkway Playhouse’s website or by calling 828-682-4285.  A perusal scripts for actors can be read at an AMY Regional Library Branch or at Parkway Playhouse.
