Parkway Playhouse Junior is a theatre arts education program for preschool through high school students. At Parkway Playhouse Junior, students work together creatively to make compelling and imaginative choices both on stage and behind the scenes.
Instructors encourage budding performers to reflect on the world in inventive ways through movement, song, props, and all aspects of theatre. Students form lasting friendships, learn well-rounded technique, and develop a deep appreciation for the performing arts in a fun, nurturing environment.
The award-winning program and nationally recognized instruction serves to prepare students for the future by developing collaboration skills, confidence, and creativity.
Parkway Playhouse Junior is currently looking to expand our Parkway Playhouse Junior Teaching Artist family. We are looking for passionate, patient, and caring music, dance, acting teachers, as well as directors, choreographers, and technical theatre instructors. We require artists to have experience working with kids as young as 4 and as old as 18. Experience in the performing arts is required and a degree in either education or theatre/musical theatre is preferred.
Please send resumes to our Director of Education, Mary Katherine Smith-Gall, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Feel free to also send any questions you may have.
