Murder at the Nu Wray Inn, an interactive dinner theatre mystery/comedy, scheduled for October 31, at 7:30pm  has sold out.  The demand for tickets was sufficient enough that Parkway Playhouse have added a second performance on Sunday November 1 at 6:30pm.  Bring your detective skills and appetite to the Nu Wray Inn, located at 102 Town Square in Burnsville, North Carolina, on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 6:30pm, or  for Murder at the Nu Wray Inn. The interactive dinner theatre event Murder at the New Wray Inn  coincides with the 270th birthday of Halloween, and a famed ghost hunter has been hired to communicate with Rush Wray, the late famed proprietor of the Nu Wray Inn.   Things go awry during the dinner, and a guest ends up being the victim of a murder.  Trapped in the Inn, it is up to the remaining to solve the crime before the killer strikes again.   

Murder at the Nu Wray Inn is being directed by Parkway Playhouse General Manager, Kristen Livengood.  This production is a part of Parkway Playhouse’s expansion into producing theatre events year-round as well as offering new kinds of programming, such as improvisational comedy, sketch comedy, and dinner theatre.

Parkway Playhouse, located in Burnsville, NC, and opened its first production in 1947. Since then, it has entertained thousands and has served as a launching pad for emerging performing artists from North Carolina to hone their skills alongside accomplished professionals.  Parkway Playhouse alumni have gone on to remarkable careers within the performing arts, film, and television; winning awards such as the Obie, Emmy, and Tony for their accomplishments.
