Parkway Playhouse Junior is a theatre arts education program for preschool through high school students. At Parkway Playhouse Junior, students work together creatively to make compelling and imaginative choices both on stage and behind the scenes.

|Disney’s Winnie the Pooh KIDS Production Class
Ages: 4 to 10
Directing Team: Mary Katherine Smith-Gall & Amy Weinmeister
In this class, students audition, rehearse and perform the musical Disney’s Winnie the Pooh KIDS while learning various theatre terms and acting techniques.
|The Music Man, Jr. Production Class
Ages: 10 to 18
Directing Team: Kristen Livengood, Amy Weinmeister, & Roberta Whiteside
In this class, students will audition, rehearse and perform Meredith Wilson’s timeless classic The Music Man, Jr. while learning various theatre terms and performance techniques.
Ages: 12 to 18
Instructor: Kristen Livengood
This eight week intensive introduces the basics of improv to develop characters, environment and relationships. This class culminates in a performance of high energy short form games for friends and family.
|Little Shop of Horrors Creature Creation Workshop
Ages: 12 to 18
Instructors: Kerstin Davis & Stacey Lane
Students in this exciting class will be responsible for the design, building and operation of these larger than life puppets that will be used in Parkway Playhouse’s upcoming production of Little Shop of Horrors.
