April 15th and 16th at 6pmat Parkway PlayhouseParkway Playhouse Junior students will present Disney’s Winnie the Pooh KIDS for two performances on Friday April 15 and Saturday April 16 at 6:00pm.   Performances will be held at the historic Parkway Playhouse theatre, located at 202 Green Mountain Drive in Burnsville. Tickets range from $5.00 to $11.00 and can only be purchased at the door.  (There is no reserved seating for this event.)   


The Parkway Playhouse Box Office will be open for the 2016 season on April 14 at 1:00pm and will be open from 1-5pm Thursday-Saturday, and one hour before performance times.  


The family-friendly musical, designed for elementary-school aged performers, is based on the 2011 Disney animated feature film and features 3 new songs from the hit film as well as classic Sherman Brothers songs from The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Winnie the Pooh KIDS! is a story about friendship as Pooh and his fellow friends go on an adventure in search of Christopher Robin.. The  cast contains approximately 25 area students ranging in age from 4 to 10 under the direction of Parkway Playhouse teaching artists Mary Katherine Smith-Gall, Amy Weinmeister, Megan Gatts, and Haven Jenkins, along with high school assistants Aneka Happer, Maggie Howell, Olivia Hughes, and Isabelle Hughes.
