Actor Spotlight: Hazel Bueno

Hazel Bueno in this fall’s production of Disney’s Aladdin KIDS at Parkway Playhouse

Hazel Bueno, who will be 8 the day after the play, was thrilled to be cast in the upcoming production of Jungle Book KIDS as Shere Kahn, the tiger.

PPJR: What is your favorite part of the musical Jungle Book KIDS?

Hazel:  My favorite part is my song as Shere Kahn the tiger. It’s the first time I have been a villain and I have learned a lot. You get to have more drama and stronger emotions. When you have an emotion… it’s always really big!

PPJR: Have you made any new friends during rehearsals?

Hazel:  Yes! I have made one new friend named Daisy, a really nice girl.

Come see Hazel (as a villain) and her new friend Daisey this weekend!
